Course Overview
The Qualification has been created to develop and reward learners with legal skills and knowledge in international business law and to continue to bring recognition and professionalism to a wide range of sectors. The aim of this programme is to develop legal skills, analysis, logical thinking and knowledge that can usefully be applied in further study, legal profession and public service. It provides students with understanding of law in context of business to equip them with abilities needed to work with advance issues.

- Course DetailsThe aim of this qualification is to develop legal skills, analysis, logical thinking and knowledge that can usefully be applied in further study, legal profession and public service. It provides learners with an understanding of law in context of business to equip them with abilities needed to work with advance issues.
The QUALIFI Level 7 Diploma in International Business Law is made up of 120 credits which equates to 1200 hours of TQT.Learners must complete all mandatory units (110) then choose one of two optional units (10 credits).0 - Course FeeStudents can make payment using one of the following methods:

Mandatory Units
International Trade Law
This module explores the legal framework governing international trade, including international trade agreements, customs regulations, and international dispute resolution mechanisms. Learners will develop an understanding of the legal challenges and opportunities in global trade.
Commercial Trust Law
This module delves into the principles and practices of commercial trusts, focusing on their application in business and finance. Learners will gain insights into the creation, administration, and termination of commercial trusts, as well as their role in asset protection, tax planning, and estate planning. Industrial and Intellectual Property Law. This module covers the legal protection of intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, and copyright. Learners will learn to identify, protect, and enforce intellectual property rights, as well as understand the implications of intellectual property law for businesses.
Law of Financial Crimes
This module explores the legal framework for combating financial crime, including money laundering, fraud, and corruption. Learners will gain knowledge of the regulatory landscape, investigative techniques, and the role of law enforcement agencies in preventing and detecting financial crime.
Company Law
This module covers the legal framework for the formation, operation, and dissolution of companies. Learners will learn about corporate governance, directors' duties, shareholder rights, and corporate finance.
Legal Research and Research Methods (10 credits)
This module equips learners with the essential skills for conducting legal research, including the use of legal databases, case law analysis, and statutory interpretation. Learners will develop the ability to identify legal issues, analyze legal arguments, and present legal findings effectively.
Optional Units
International Commercial Arbitration (10 credits)
This module explores the principles and practices of international commercial arbitration, including arbitration agreements, arbitration procedures, and the enforcement of arbitral awards. Learners will gain an understanding of the advantages of international arbitration as a dispute resolution mechanism.
Corporate Governance – Principles and Practices (10 credits)
This module focuses on the principles and practices of corporate governance, including board structure, executive compensation, shareholder rights, and corporate social responsibility. Learners will develop a critical understanding of the role of corporate governance in promoting ethical and sustainable business practices.0 - University Top-UpOn completion of this course students have the opportunity to complete an MBA programme from a range of UK universities. The top up programme can be studied online or on campus. The MBA top up comprises the final 60 credits which consists of either a dissertation or a dissertation and one module.
Students may top-up on campus or by distance learning.
