The rationale for the qualification is that it provides a career path for learners who wish to develop a broad base of knowledge and skills that will enable them to work in a variety of roles in the information technology (IT) industry, notably in programming, website design or PC maintenance. The technical skills and knowledge delivered through the successful achievement of the qualification are required and recognised internationally.
The diploma is accredited at Level 4 and has a total equivalence of 120 credits.

- Course DetailsThe QUALIFI Level 4 Diplomas in IT consist of 120 credits which equates to 1200 hours of TQT.
Learners must complete all four core units and any two elective units at Level 4.

Elective Units

5. Programming Concepts and Java for Android Programming
Learners taking this qualification cannot choose the combination of electives that lead to a specialise qualifications in Networking, Web design or E Commerce. Therefore, the following combinations are not allowed – H/617/6696 and K/617/6697, M/617/6698 and T/617/6699, D/617/6700 and H/617/6701as the 2 electives.0 - Course FeeThe fee for enrolling into the level 6 course is £1000. - Am I eligible for this programme?The qualification has been designed to be accessible without artificial barriers that restrict access and progression.
Entry to the qualification will be through centre interview and learners will be expected to hold the following:
1. qualifications at Level 5 and/or;
2. work experience in the business sector and demonstrate ambition with clear career goals.

Physical IT Networking

Programming Concepts and Java for Android Programming
This module introduces programming concepts and the Java programming language, with a focus on Android app development.0 - Written AssignmentsThe Qualifi level 6 Business and administrative Management Course has 6 modules and 6 written assignments. On completion of the modules, students will be given access to the assignments. The assignments are approximately 5,000-8,000 words each. Students are provided support on the modules and assignments via the ‘Tutor’ section of the learning platform.
