Under the Short-Term Study Visa, the following conditions apply:

Requirements for Students Under 18

  • You must be at least 16 years old upon arrival in the UK to be eligible for a Short-Term Study Visa.
  • Students under 18 must provide contact details of at least one parent or guardian in their home country.
  • If traveling alone, you will need written consent from both parents (or one parent if they have sole responsibility) or from your legal guardian. We recommend requesting a template letter from the language center to ensure it meets the necessary standards.
  • If traveling with an adult over 18 who is not your parent or guardian, that person must be named on your visa application. Up to two adults can be named, and you must arrive in the UK with at least one of them. Full details can be found on the GOV.UK website.

Step 1: Application

Step 2: Eligibility & Offer

  • We will review your application within two days and inform you of your eligibility.
  • If eligible, you will receive an offer letter and an invoice for the course fees.

Step 3: Payment & Enrolment

  • Once you have paid your tuition fees, Graduex will issue a certificate of enrolment.
  • This certificate is essential for your visa application.

Important Notes

  • You must be living outside the UK to apply for a visa with Graduex.
  • Visa Application Fees:
    • Standard visa application fee: £200
    • Immigration Health Surcharge: £776 (subject to change)

Post-Application Process

Visa Processing Time

If you applied for a UK visa using the standard processing service, UK Visas & Immigration estimates that it will take around 3 weeks from your biometrics appointment to receive a decision on your application.

Visa Approval

If your visa application is Approved, you will receive an Entry Clearance visa vignette in your passport. This visa typically has a validity of 30 or 90 days. Check the specific dates in the top right corner of your visa vignette. You must enter the UK within this validity period to activate your visa.

Visa Denial

If your visa application is Denied, please notify Graduex immediately. We will provide guidance on your next steps and refer you to our terms and conditions for information on the “Visa refusal refund scheme” under the “Course cancellation by the student” section.

How to Pay

Payments can be made via Debit/Credit cards, cheques, and banker’s draft. Payment details will be provided in an invoice upon course registration.

Qualification Levels

Bridging Gaps, The Standards of Knowledge

Level 1 qualification is equivalent to GCSE (Graduation Certificate of Secondary Education) at grade D-G or 1-3 and also NVQ( National Vocational Qualification) level 1. 

Level 2 courses are intermediate-level courses. They provide good knowledge about the subject and require the learner to understand and complete a variety of tasks with proper supervision or guidance. The qualification gained at this level may open doors to many job opportunities. This qualification is equivalent to GCSE A-C or 4-9 and also GNVQ (General National Vocational Qualification) intermediate.

This qualification is equivalent to an A level. It gives access to higher education diplomas or apprenticeships of advanced level. It recognizes the ability to gain, and apply where knowledge, skills, and understanding are relevant. Learning at this level involves obtaining complete knowledge and skills. It is appropriate for the people who wish to go to university, people working independently in their respective fields, or supervising and training others in their field of work.

Level 4 qualification comprises specialist level learning and involves a more detailed analysis of high-level skills and knowledge in the area of study or work. This level is appropriate for the people working in technical and professional jobs or managing and developing others. Level 4 is the equivalent to the first year of a bachelor’s Degree programme.

Level 5 qualification is equivalent to intermediate Higher Education qualifications such as diplomas or degrees that do not typically provide access to postgraduate programs. (Level 5 is the equivalent to the second year of a bachelor’s degree programme. It is also equivalent to a HND diploma.) This level recognizes the ability to increase the depth of knowledge and understanding of an area of work or study. It also enables the responses to complex problems and formulation of solutions to any situation. This qualification involves the demonstration of high levels of knowledge, a high level of work expertise in job roles, and competence in managing and training. Qualifications at this level are appropriate for people working as higher grade professionals, technicians, or managers.

Level 6 qualifications are at a level that is equivalent to bachelor’s degrees with honours, graduate certificates, and graduate diplomas. It recognizes a specialist’s high-level knowledge of an area of interest. It allows and enables the use of an individual’s own perspective, ideas, and research in response to complex problems and situations. Learning at this level provides the achievement of a high level of professional knowledge. This is appropriate for people working as knowledge-based professionals or in professional management positions. Upon completion of a level 6 course, you will be eligible for admission onto a postgraduate /MA course.

Level 7 is a complex and highly developed level of knowledge that allows original and in-depth responses to complicated and unpredictable problems. Learning at this level involves the demonstration of high-level professional knowledge and is suitable for senior professionals and managers. It is equivalent to master’s degrees, postgraduate certificates and postgraduate diplomas.

  • Study the Modules under Tutor guidance
  • Complete your assignments & Multiple-choice Tests
  • Receive your certificate
  • If you have completed a Foundation Stage Top-up your qualification to an undergraduate degree.
  • If you already have an undergraduate degree, you can then go on to earn a postgraduate degree
