3. Learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course0 - Level 5 Module ListingThe Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care has 5 units in total. 120 credits are required to achieve the Diploma. Learners must complete all 5 mandatory units.
Principles Underpinning Health and Social Care
This module explores the core principles that underpin health and social care practice, including person-centered care, dignity, respect, and empowerment. You will learn about the ethical and legal frameworks that guide professional practice, as well as the importance of evidence-based practice.
The Management of Quality in Health and Social Care
This module delves into the principles and practices of quality management in health and social care settings. You will learn about quality assurance, quality improvement, and risk management strategies.
Research Project
This module provides an opportunity to undertake an independent research project, allowing you to apply research methods to a specific health or social care topic. You will learn to formulate research questions, collect and analyze data, and present your findings in a clear and concise manner.
Partnership Working in Health and Social Care
This module explores the importance of interprofessional collaboration and partnership working in health and social care. You will learn to work effectively with colleagues from different disciplines, as well as with service users and their families.
Working with Service Users with Complex Needs
This module focuses on the challenges and opportunities of working with individuals who have complex needs. You will learn about effective communication strategies, risk assessment, and the development of individualized care plans.
